Community Partners

The CLL takes pride in the fact that all of the educational programs are open discussions that pertain to the site as a whole, including the Bear Creek Wildlife Sanctuary, the waste-to-energy facility, and the active ash and fill. The site’s programs have been crafted to maximize these educational opportunities while optimizing the strengths of our community partners to archive common goals targeted at environmental stewardship.

Scheduled Tours
Through Wheelabrator’s partnerships with NSCC, Prof. Young hosts an average of twelve tour groups to the facility each year.

Future Partners

EATHS is currently seeking a formal agreements with other educational institutes. Such partnerships are likely several years in the making but could provide long term benefits to the site and the community.
